Very good restaurant near to Arlene Schnitzer Hall. Street Parking was easy on a Friday at 530 pm. Service was attentive but not overbearing. I had garlic naan and saag paneer. Portions were huge and enough for two people. As I was dining alone had enough for another meal. Saag paneer had very good flavor and as the server asked me what level of spice I wanted it was customized for me perfectly. Plenty of paneer cheese and the saag was seasoned well beyond just being spicy - cumin and other flavors. The naan was different than what I've had before - crispy and not pillowy but HUGE . The garlic flavor was rather mild and I didn't notice any pieces of garlic.. but it was still quite tasty. Also had a mango lassi (sweet) which went very well with the dinner (I loooooooooove mango lassi) This is a good place to come prior to a concert at the Schnitz. I will definitely come back!

Very traditional cuisine. Every time I go, 4 out of five tables are Indian, so must be a familiar taste for them. The lamb Makhani is by far my favorite here. Probably my favorite food overall. I ordered Vindaloo this time, and while the flavor was there, the paprika was a little overpowered by the chili. My favorite has been the lamb makhani. More review to come. This review is incomplete

We got in second attempt, first time went without reservation so had to Come back. Coming to food , food was very delicious, being vegetarian we tried multiple dishes and all of them were superb. Food presentation and platting was also very good specially Samosa chaat,i have never seen samsa in this shape and platted like this, very tasty, if you really like spicy order for level 4 or 5. Service was very fast and staff was very nice and courteous.Ambience is also very good.

One of the best Indian food I have ever had. We ordered samosa and tikka masala with lamb. The lamb was very well cooked and the masala tasted amazing. The samosa was delicious too, but a bit spicy for my taste. The garlic naan was large and fresh. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I host an Indian food Meetup and a group of us were going to another spot nearby. A large tree fell near that original venue and we pivoted to East India Co less than a mile away. The team at @eastindiacopdx was gracious enough to host 20 people with a few minutes notice and we all made the transition. The food was excellent, the service super friendly, and we all had a fantastic time!

Nice place for Indian food. The atmosphere is more polished than most of the Indian restaurants in the area, so a little pricey. Food taste and flavors are good. Dal, kofta and paneer we tried had good flavor. Dal was a little under cooked, but flavor was good. Naan was a little too hard but manageable. Overall a nice place with good food to spend time.

My man and I were fiending for some tasty Indian cuisine, so we went here on a cute date. The ambience is inviting and comfy, and the service was good. Cutie-chan got the tikka masala with lamb and I had the makhani with shrimp. Both dishes were so flavorful and the portions were generous at a good price. The mango lassi was absolutely delightful! (He also got garlic naan, but it's not GF so I couldn't try it. He seemed to enjoy it greatly though.) We very much recommend!
